02: Workshop Analog photography with Yassine Sellame and Paulin Amato
The argentic photography workshop aims to approach photography in a playful way while exploring the city through the lens of an analogue camera, and taking time with the photos before seeing them revealed.
This workshop, aimed at beginners and advanced photographers alike, takes place over 5 days and covers an introduction to shooting, as well as a city walk around a predetermined theme, followed by an introduction to argentic development and digitization in color and/or black and white, depending on the participant’s choice.

Qisas the portrait
Yassine Sellame
Yassine Sellame is a photographer from Marrakech. In 2015, he began exploring and working with analog cameras, as well as experimenting with the chemical processing of the photos he took. He exhibited in the Czech Republic, at Marrakech on Skateboard as part of the Arab Fest festival, and at the Transforma festival in 2018. In 2019, he exhibited in artist Hassan Haijaj’s space at the Art fair festival in Marrakech. Yassine also facilitates photographic development workshops in several art spaces.
Paulin Amato
Paulin Amato came to Morocco to study cinema. He started practicing analogue photography more and more regularly, mainly through street photography. In his practice, he seeks to capture snapshots of suspended attitudes, of non-decisive and candid moments of the people he encounters. He currently lives in Casablanca, a constant source of inspiration for him.
