13: ATELIER ANIMATION SUR FOUND FOOTAGE 16mm
From December 17th to November 18th 2022
This workshop explores the possibilities of creating camera-less film through experimental animation techniques on 16mm found footage. Participants delved into the history of avant-garde animation by viewing excerpts from films by artists such as Len Lye, Stan Brakhage and Hirsch de Storm. They also developed animation strips using a variety of tools and techniques, including felt-tip drawing and scratching. The animated strips were then assembled and screened in La Cinémathèque de Tanger.

Through a series of workshops, the collective shares its knowledge, techniques and experiments with the public.
