18: Workshop Video Mixing with 560ZOOM
From June 7th to June 16th 2023
This workshop gives participants the opportunity to combine, contrast and capture different visual impressions of the city of Tangier using analog and DIY video mixers.
During the workshop, participants use camcorders to record their personal, real-time impressions of Tangier. At a later stage, these tape recordings will not only be mixed and matched, but also combined with family archives. The workshop also teaches the technique of digitizing VHS, Hi8 and DV tapes for private archives.
To produce experimental videos, we use both analog video mixers and DIY dirty video mixers.
